There aren't a lot of medical marijuana products out there on the market that hold up the value that they claim, especially when it comes to edibles. As you can see from the title, we are going to be taking a look at Uncle Herb's, a brand I have grown quite fond of lately. I've tried quite a few products from this brand and I feel it is about time I write a review on it.
This is definitely looong overdue!
Most medical marijuana production companies only mention positive things about their products just to get it to fly off of the shelves. Others merely escape the harsh reality of a growing medical marijuana industry by relying heavily on the sale of their products through word of mouth. Unlike Vapen who offers a marijuana product in just about every category in a dispensary, the Uncle Herb's products I have come across have been mostly edibles.
I recently decided to purchase the Watermelon Tarts that you see pictured. One thing that attracted me to this brand is their packaging of 25 gummies in one pack, each containing 10mg of THC per piece. The price was also on the low side for a dollar per gummy as of 10/6/2019 at TruBliss Organics dispensary in Mesa, AZ.
One amazing thing about the quality of these edibles, it doesn't take many to experience a release of pain... at all. Now, as a woman, I of course have menstrual cycles, however I tend to have pretty severe menstrual cramping as well as bloating. My doctors have been unable to find the root cause after I consulted them so I one day decided to just try my Uncle Herb's Watermelon Tarts to see if it would knock out my pain and bloating.
I took 20mg on an empty stomach, and you wouldn't believe the amount of relief I had after only 30 minutes of waiting! Now I will warn you. Do not attempt to start out at 20mg doses if you are not used to taking edibles. Know your sensitivity level first before medicating or consult your medical cannabis doctor for a more specialized approach.
For my personal medication dosing, 20mg on an empty stomach is the perfect amount whenever I am attempting to reduce and regulate my anxiety and shoulder pain levels so I figured that trying this amount for my abdominal ailment would be perfect. Taking my edibles in this way did improve my overall experience by instantly reducing my bloating on activation and enabling me to finally move around and not be afraid of breathing whenever I felt a cramp.
The effect of the edibles lasted for roughly three hours before I started to feel a tad bit more pain, which I was okay with considering what I was dealing with just before consumption. Who knew that these would be perfect for menstrual pain because I sure didn't?!
The taste of these beauties is quite pleasant as well. Unlike other edibles that either overdo it on the sugar or cocoa to mask the potent THC or CBD infusion, Uncle Herb's Watermelon Tarts actually tastes like watermelon candies. Interesting fact: this brand also creates vegan gummies which is a huge plus for those looking for great quality consumables but wanting to stick to their own eating styles.
All in all, I would definitely rate these edibles, and this brand for that matter, three leaves out of three leaves!
Not only is the flavor a perfect blend, but it offers potent pain relief with each gummy ingested. I appreciate this company for being one of the few to offer us medical marijuana patients a safe way to consume that tastes great too! So, thank you Uncle Herb's!
If you have a medical marijuana card and happen to deal with any sorts of pain besides what you got the card for, locate these babies and keep them in your stockpile. You can never go wrong with having a strong, cost efficient edible on hand!
