A popular Arizona marijuana strain, Pineapple Cookies has made its way to me at long last! I had been on the lookout for some new weed strains, but it was as if the longer I searched the harder it became to find a strain I haven’t had. Most of the dispensary favorites I had tried – with the exception of the sativas, but of course each dispensary has their favorite and only those remained in stock on the shelves.
I was growing a bit bored of my old strains, but not because they were not working. I just wanted a change in tastes and the type of buzz (more cerebral then body over body then cerebral) the cannabis provided. I was recommended the Pineapple Cookies strain by a budtender during on of my most recent dispensary visits. If you want to know more about this strain’s genetic history, see the Leafly site for some pretty reliable info.
To not cause an uproar among my neighbors, I used this strain in the form of a shatter as vapor instead of flower. Vaping Pineapple Cookies not only knocked out mental adrenaline, but it lulled away physical pain I was having at the time in my neck muscles. I appreciated the way that the buzz came on as more of a cerebral high first and then settled into being a body relaxation. I recommend this strain for anyone dealing with severe and chronic pain, especially within the head and shoulders. Remember that there is that cerebral buzz that comes in first, so make sure you are not working on anything that requires your immediate alertness and environmental awareness for a couple of hours.
Pineapple Cookies did give way to extreme euphoria throughout my mind and body. It works perfectly as a meditation strain as it slows down the thoughts and images from within so that you can make clear and sound conclusions. I was able to answer some pretty tough questions about myself and situations around me without losing my train of thought. Sure I have had some wild thoughts while using this strain as well, however what has come to me has not been a bunch of babbling nonsense.
Now, Pineapple Cookies is remarkable in its taste. The strain gave me real tropical island from outdoors “with a fire ass drank in my hand” kind of vibes. The earthy undertones balanced the acidic and sweet pineapple taste in a way that made the strain enjoyable to taste and smell. While these things were great, I did end up with mad munchies by the time I was done with my small piece of shatter. I ended up with munchies, but then I also fell into a heavy drowsy-like state which made me eat but fall right asleep afterwards (heartburn was on 1,000%). If you choose to give this strain a try, remember that while you will encounter smooth euphoria starting from your head and ending in your toes, Pineapple Cookies will give you strong hunger urges so keep a nice stock of snacks!
