Pie Hoe OG Marijuana Strain Review

Updated: May 17, 2020

Welcome back Kool Kats! For this marijuana review, we will be taking a look at the weed strain Pie Hoe OG, a robust strain that has been known by an upper echelon of cannabis connoisseurs as the strain for relaxing! Never did it cross my mind to give it a shot but with a name like "Pie Hoe", I was intrigued.

So roll up your favorite weed, grab your munchie snacks, and let's vibe in these trees, breaking down the bud's flavor and ailments it is sure to provide relief for!

**********

I first began the hunt for new cannabis strains shortly after receiving my patient card. I wanted to find backup strains that were not only effective but very flavorful. Of course a connoisseur would say that plan of action isn't wise. Yes, I get that potency can be found in any dank weed! But in going the route that I went, I discovered what it means by the "louder the better" with OG strains being more potent of all.

Thanks to its indica parents, Grape Pie and Tahoe OG, Pie Hoe OG is often marketed as an indica or indica-dominant hybrid. I, personally, feel that the strain is more of an indica-dominant hybrid if used in a microdose fashion. However, true to its OG lineage, Pie Hoe OG is definitely a heavy-handed indica, and I do not recommend it to anyone at the beginner level of smoking weed. However, you are grown, so just use caution if you want to give this one a try. The OG strain boasts bold flavors of grape and mixed berries, with some consumers reporting the taste to be more fruity with a skunky exhale.

Even with using very small amounts of Pie Hoe OG in a shatter form, this bud packs a punch that can be felt within the head first, right between the eyes. Do not let this fool you, however. Pie Hoe OG carries euphoria in the form of pure body bliss and real peace of mind. With just two hits of a concentrate form, the user can expect to be swept up in a smooth, yet easy high that can keep you wrapped in a creative world for hours.

Speaking of creativity, Pie Hoe OG is the perfect strain for a wandering brain. Although at times I became quite talkative, I felt as though I could listen to my thoughts flow without judgement. I was able to meditate in peace and take time to focus on which thoughts brought me happiness versus worrying about things beyond my control.

Grateful for this peace of mind doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel about Pie Hoe OG. I was also able to concentrate on a variety of tasks during my initial buzz and well into my high. Instead of feeling like I should just surf the couch cushions to ride out my buzz, I kept receiving big boosts of new creative ideas that kept my hand wrapped around a pen and dancing across a notepad.

Not only did Pie Hoe OG give me peace of mind, but I found temporary relief from heavy stress, minor muscular aches and soreness, as well as anxiety. Not only do I recommend Pie Hoe OG for the above, but also for insomnia. I would use this strain with caution when it comes to relieving headaches. Not only did Pie Hoe OG give me peace of mind, but I found temporary relief from heavy stress, minor muscular aches and soreness, as well as anxiety. After all things in consideration, this strain removed more than what I intended for it to. There are not too many strains that can satisfy my needs and some, so I would have to rate this strain three leaves out of three!

Now let me ask you this. Would you give Pie Hoe OG a try or steer clear? What about my Kool Kats who have tried this strain? Do you have other experiences you'd like to share? Sign up today so you can get conversations started!

As always, I'll catch you in the trees!
