As you all know, I was recently in an auto accident. I already deal with chronic pain, but the accident made my pain a million times worse.
Okay...
Maybe not that much, but it was quite painful. Because of the kind of week I'd been having, I really didn't have time to go schedule any sort of appointment. I needed relief immediately without going to an urgent care just to hear that I'm dealing with muscle spasms and be given pharmaceuticals that would make me feel worse.
Of course with Labor Day sales kicking off at dispensaries statewide, I decided to go to my favorite dispensary to stock up on meds that I could use for the current pain. While there, I chatted with my Budtender about the strains I've tried and her recommendations based on what I was looking for. She briefly mentioned to me that they had CBD bath bombs on sale for 25% off. I asked her to show me what they had and she revealed two Baskin bath bombs, one tropical scented and one lavender. The Budtender advised me that this Baskin Lavender Bliss Bath Bomb would be perfect for dulling down my pain and the lavender would help give me some comfort.
Let me just go ahead and cut to the chase. This bath bomb gets three out of three leaves hands down!
Now I won't lie to you...
I was a bit hesitant before use because I wasn't sure if it would be worth the money paid. I went back and forth with myself a bit debating on when to use the bath bomb because I wanted to make sure that I could gauge my current pain level, but I hate being in pain! I had to deal with the pain in order to see if this actually worked.
I ran my bath water and opened the package. The bath bomb was sealed away in a pretty thick plastic and was not wrapped in additional plastic thin plastic around the product itself. I was able to just open the pack and drop the bath bomb into the filled bathtub. That alone is wonderful! Less mess, no stress.
Before the water was ready I had opened the pack to see what the smell was like. My fear was that I would smell an overwhelming push of perfume to attempt to mask the scent of CBD. My initial take on the scent was pleasant. It seemed like a regular bath bomb. Nothing stood out to hype me up about it.
After the tub was filled, I dropped in the bath bomb and watched it dissolve a little before I finally got in. The burst of lavender and some orange blossom scents filled my bathroom! I was so shocked! The soothing oils that was included within instantly softened my skin. I didn't expect that surprise! Most bath products promise to soften your skin and hydrate it for 24 hours or so. The Lavender Bliss bath bomb was used roughly 16 hours ago, and my skin is still very soft! I haven't experienced any irritation to my skin or dry patches.
The CBD content of the bath bomb is 50 mg. I was a little nervous about that amount since I almost never take 50 mg of any of my medical marijuana, but I calmed down completely about 15 minutes into my soak. I felt my muscle relax to a point where the muscle spasm couldn't be felt any more. Even the tightness had eased.
I will say that as added precaution, I did apply a Biofreeze patch on my shoulder. From that I remained pain free for the rest of the night!
All in all, if you happen to go to a dispensary, ask them if they carry this product and BUY IT!
Catch you in the trees!
Great read, I need to try one
